GOUVERNEUR — A 19-year-old village resident was arrested Thursday afternoon for allegedly damaging several cars in and around Gouverneur.

Village police said Dylan L. Daniell, of 125 Prospect St., was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and seven counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief at 3:38 p.m. Thursday at the police department, 33 Clinton St., after they found leads connecting to him to a Nov. 12 incident.

Officers said they were not sure how much monetary damage he had caused to the vehicles that day.

He was arraigned before Town Justice Stanley H. Young Jr., who sent him to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $1,000 bail.
