CANTON Jenna Marks assisted on three goals as the St. Lawrence University womens hockey team completed a weekend sweep of Penn State with a 4-2 win in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon at Appleton Arena.
Kayla Raniwsky, Mel Desrochers, Kailee Heidersbach and Amanda Boulier scored for the Saints (10-7-1 overall). Jess Desorcie and Hannah Hoenshell scored for Penn State (5-12-1).
CLARKSON 5, SYRACUSE 4
Carly Mercer scored two goals to lead the Golden Knights (15-3) to a second straight win over the Orange in a nonconference contest in Syracuse.
Jamie Lee Rattray, Danielle Skirrow and Chistine Lambert also scored for Clarkson. Holly Carrie-Mattimoe, Allie LaCombe, Shian Darkangelo and Margot Scharfe scored for the Orange (9-8-1) wich is coachede by Canton native Paul Flanagan.
SUNY POTSDAM 3, ST. MICHAELS 1
Izzy Fayerman scored the game-winning goal in the second period as the Bears (3-8-1) finished 1-0-1 against St. Michaels in a nonconference series at Clarkson.
Jenn Crawford and Alexandra Holowka also scored for the Bears. Maire Bartkus scored for St. Michaels (1-8-1).
MENS HOCKEY
SUNY POTSDAM 10, SOUTHERN MAINE 4
Kenny Simon, Dan McCamey and Matt Thompson each scored two goals as the Bears (5-7) routed Southern Maine in a nonconference game in Portland, Maine.
Mike Riley, Max Fogel, Adam Place and Zach Place also scored for SUNY Potsdam.
Troy Thibodeau, Daniel Mattsson, Stephen Gallo and Alex Pompeo scored for Southern Maine (5-6).
RHODE ISLAND CLUB 4, SUNY CANTON 1
Robbie Buerherer scored twice to lead the Rams past SUNY Canton (5-11) in a nonconference game in Canton. Dave Ferris scored for the Kangaroos.

SUNY POTSDAM 78, SUNY FREDONIA 54
Mark Lake Jr. scored 20 points to help the Bears (3-5, 1-3) knock off SUNY Fredonia in a SUNYAC game in Potsdam.
Curtis Pierce added 18 points for the Bears. John Kovach scored 15 points for SUNY Fredonia (4-5, 1-3).
MCLA 78, SUNY CANTON 67
John Jones scored 22 points and snagged 13 rebounds as the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (2-5) defeated the Kangaroos in North Adams, Mass.
Michael Pulci scored 24 points for SUNY Canton (2-5) and Khalid Vaughn added 15 with 11 rebounds. Xzavier Fisher added 14 points.
WOMENS BASKETBALL
SUNY FREDONIA 68, SUNY POTSDAM 40
Anna Riley scored 12 points and added 10 rebounds as SUNY Fredonia (6-3, 2-2) defeated the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Potsdam.
Jaimie Warren led SUNY Fredonia with 15 points followed by Becky Hebert with 14 and Nikole Lindquist with 10. Katy Briedis led the Bears (1-8, 0-4) with 13 points.
MCLA 61, SUNY CANTON 41
Lucy Tremblay scored 14 points, Kait Chenevert scored 12 and Johanna Miner added 10 as MCLA (5-3) defeated the Kangaroos in a nonconference game in North Adams, Mass.
Alicia Uhlien scored 11 points for the Kangaroos (4-4) and Kaitlyn Myers grabbed 11 rebounds.
