Well skilled runs highlighted Northern Billiards Shooters League play for week nine.

Tom Caloren of Moose II and Chris Washburn of Moose II produced 20 points for runs at home helping their team produce a 192-96 romp against AmVets II. Caloren’s run helped him narrow the gap between first place leader Chris Ashley of Moose I 337-333.

Washburn’s run was in doubles and didn’t help him and his teammate gain entry into the top five as Clarence Dedrick and Ashley stand first at 174 to Bill Mason and Lee Griffith of DaVinci’s II 168. In the singles division, Steve “The Babe” Mills continued his slide to fifth place.

Moose II has a 1539-1500 lead over Moose I in the standings. DaVinci’s I used a 179-85 win over Ghizes II to knock on DaVinic’s II’s fourth place door of 1421. Duff’s II is third at 1477.
