Watertown police early Saturday charged Jason H. Cuppernell, 46, of 529 Cross St., upper apartment, with second-degree criminal trespass.

Mr. Cuppernell was accused of breaking into the lower apartment in his building, occupied by Lucas R. Frisch, at 1:01 a.m. and remaining there without permission. He is to answer the charge in City Court.
