HERMON — Keith J. McCauley, 26, of 1375 North Woods Road, was charged with criminal contempt by state police at 1:42 p.m. Friday.

Mr. McCauley allegedly visited his girlfriend, Larissa Carlin, violating an order of protection she holds against him.

He is to appear in Hermon Town Court.
