A town of Watertown man and his estranged wife from Rodman both were being held Monday in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building following their arrests by state police in connection with a domestic fight.
Michael J. Pierce, 22, of 20192 Beutel Road, was charged with felony criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal mischief, and was jailed Sunday morning under $1,500 bail, set by Rodman Town Justice Rodney R. Tamblin.
Late Sunday, Desiree D. Pierce, 23, of 21580 Pork Hill Road, was placed in jail on charges of fourth-degree criminal solicitation and harassment. Judge Tamblin set her bail at $500.
According to state police, Mrs. Pierce invited Mr. Pierce to come to her home for child visitation, but in doing so was placing him in violation of stay-away terms in a Family Court order of protection.
After he arrived Saturday night, a fight developed, during which she slapped him and he kicked in a door, police said.
