Massena- Thomas R. Prashaw Sr. passed away Friday (December 7, 2012) peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and Hospice. Tom was born November 5, 1948 in Morristown, NY. He went on to marry Linda (Ellis) Prashaw on September 15, 1979 in Danbury CT. He was previously employed at Heli-Coil Manufacturing as a machine mechanic before relocating to the North Country in 1986.Tom also volunteered his time with the Salvation Army, as a bell ringer during the holiday season for over 15 years. Tom also was an avid painter and guitarist, even recording his own music for others enjoyment. Tom is survived by his loving wife Linda, his son Thomas R.Prashaw Jr. of Massena, and daughter Melinda and Rodney Jones of Nicholville, NY. Also surviving Tom are two grandchildren Cambree Grace, and Layne Thomas Jones. A brother Eugene Prashaw and wife Sandra; a sister Mary Jones; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Family and friends may call at the family home; 159 Water Street Wednesday (December 12, 2012) from 2-4pm.
