Massena- Gary P. Collins 64, of Maple Street passed away peacefully at his home Saturday evening (December 8, 2012). Gary was born June 15, 1948 the son of Paul and Elizabeth (Dallas) Collins. He graduated from Massena Central and enlisted in the United States Navy. Gary retired from the Dept. of Public Works where he read water meters. Gary was previously married which ended in divorce. Surviving Gary is his son Josh P. Collins and step children Tonya and Vincent Kirkey all of Massena. Gary is also survived by his grandchildren Marcus J., Carmen E., Aries A. and Annilysse A., step-grandchildren; Trent M., Vanessa Ann, Andrew L. and Aleksys M. Kirkey all of Massena. Also surviving Gary are his two brothers; James G. and Lori Collins, Massena, William W. and Arlene of Claremont, NH, and a sister Linda Cellana of N. Syracuse, NY. Gary enjoyed spending time with his loving grandchildren. There are no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.
