Watertown police on Friday charged Lisa M. Hulit, 21, of 845 Starbuck Ave., Apt. 1403, with endangering the welfare of a child.

Ms. Hulit was accused of spanking a 7-year-old boy several times Thursday, causing bruising and redness.

She is to appear in City Court.
