ONEIDA - Chateaugays Junior defender Hannah Cook was honored as the Class D Co-Player of the Year heading the Northern Conference selections on the All New York State Girls Soccer Team which was announced by New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Association for Girls Sports on Sunday.
Cook shared the Player of the Year honors with Remsens senior forward Erin OConnor.
Chateaugay, which lost to Poland 2-1 in the Class D state championship game, was also represented on the first team by senior forward Alexis Beach and on the second team by senior forward Courtney Boyea.
Parishville-Hopkintons junior forward Kodi Perkins also earned second team selection with Heuveltons sophomore forward Alexis Weidner making the fourth team.
Rounding out the NAC selections were Cantons Emma Rexford, a senior forward, who made the fourth teram in Class C; Potsdams senior Forward Kady Hart who made the fifth team in Class B and Massenas senior forward Dominque Valancius who made the fourth team in Class A.
