NORFOLK — The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report that a Regan Road residence was burglarized within the past week, detectives said Wednesday.

Someone entered the home and stole a welder, generator, fireplace and numerous assorted power tools, including a nail gun, miter saw, jigsaw and skill saw and other hand tools, detectives said.

The stolen items are worth more than $4,500, detectives said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department detective division at 379-2360.
