Chateaugays Hannah Cook was chosen the Class D state co-player of the year as the all-state girls soccer team was announced.
Cook, a junior defender, was joined as co-player of the year by Polands Erin OConnor. Poland beat Chateaugay in the state championship game.
Cooks teammate, senior forward Alexis Beach, was also a first-team selection. Senior forward Courtney Boyea of Chateaugay was joined on the second team by Copenhagen freshman midfielder Claire Stackel and Parishville-Hopkinton junior forward Kodie Perkins.
Heuvelton junior Alexis Weidner is on the fourth team in Class D.
Also chosen were: Massena senior Dominique Valancius on the fourth team in Class A; South Jefferson junior Jackie Decker and Potsdam senior Kady Hart on the fifth team in Class B; and Canton senior Ema Rexford on the fifth team in Class C.
