HIT BY CAR - MASSENA - Village police ticketed both the driver and pedestrian involved in a car, pedestrian accident at approximately 1:55 p.m. Thursday. Sue Chapman, 55, of 16 Laurel Avenue was ticketed for unsafe backing, as she was backing out of her driveway when the accident occurred. The pedestiran, Thomas Prashaw, 32, of 9 Laurel Avenue was also ticketed as he was walking in the road at the time of the accident. Prashaw was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital for treatment of what were believed to be minor injuries.
