Nicole M. Pitts, 33, of 35139 Pleasant St., Antwerp, was charged Tuesday by the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department with petit larceny for allegedly writing a check on a closed account.
A check written for $50 was passed on May 12 at the Black River American Legion post, according to the sheriffs office.
Ms. Pitts was charged in August with seven counts of issuing bad checks, written in Carthage and Theresa, for a total of $347.25.
