A woman from Middletown, Ohio, was listed Thursday as stable at Samaritan Medical Center with injuries she suffered Wednesday morning when the pickup in which she was riding collided with a tractor-trailer on Route 11 in the town of Philadelphia.
Markee Kincaid, 19, who was riding in a pickup driven by Kevin V. Kincaid, 21, Middletown, had among her injuries a broken arm, according to state police.
Mr. Kincaid was treated at the hospital for a sprained knee.
Police said their vehicle was southbound on Route 11 when shortly after 9 a.m. it skidded on slippery pavement and entered the opposite lane, causing the collision. The truck driver, Stephen Schwartz, 49, West Chazy, was not injured.
There was no indication from state police if traffic summonses were issued.
