HERMON A town of Hermon man is accused of raping a disabled person, according to state police.
Jerry F. Daniels, 53, Hermon, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with one count of second-degree rape without consent, in which the victim was disabled. The charge is a felony.
The incident was reported March 2, 2010, according to a state police blotter release. Further information was not immediately available Friday morning.
He was released on his own recognizance, troopers said.
