The melodic punk rock band Billy Talent will bring its Dead Silence tour to Kingston on April 9.

In September, Billy Talent’s fourth studio album, “Dead Silence,” became the band’s third consecutive release to enter the Canadian album sales charts at No. 1 and its fourth consecutive album to be certified gold. It also debuted at No. 1 in Germany, No. 2 in Austria and No. 3 in Switzerland.

The band has spent the past few months playing some of Europe’s biggest rock festivals and headlining a European tour.
