In the day of big resorts and inflated ski-lift ticket prices, Titus Mountain Family Ski Center is committed to welcoming guests with a special snow sports experience that offers Adirondack beauty, affordability, safety and fun!

Titus has short lift lines, uncrowded slopes, good food, including poutine (french fries, cheese curds, and gravy- a Canadian dish!), great grooming and low lift ticket prices.

Located seven miles outside of Malone in the northern Adirondack foothills, Titus Mountain is blessed with abundant natural snow. Despite the bad snow start to the season, no worries at Titus, the area has over a foot of natural snow with more on the way. Thanks to those now “named” snow storms!

Titus operates a total of 10 lifts: Two 3-Passenger Chairlifts, Six 2-Passenger Chairlifts and Two Handle-Tow Surface Lifts. These lifts service 42 trails and glades, two terrain parks, The Learning Center and Snow Tubing Park. Titus stretches across three mountains with over 200 acres open for skiing and snowboarding. The 2,025 ft. summit elevation provides plenty of room to spread out. Lift lines are rare.

The Lower Mountain Lodge has been extensively remodeled and expanded for the 2012-2013 season. Ticket sales, customer service, equipment rental and repair, the retail store and the full-service Learning Center are conveniently located at the base of the Lower Mountain. Wireless internet access is also provided at no charge in the Lower Mountain lodge. Fully staffed first aid stations are maintained on both the Upper and Lower Mountains.

The Upper Mountain trail network is conveniently connected to the Middle and Lower Mountain network via a ski-through highway tunnel, as well as a ski-over highway overpass. Seventy percent of the terrain is serviced by snowmaking and groomed each 24 hours (weather-permitting) to ensure optimum conditions. Terrain ranges from green to black diamond.

There is new skiing and boarding to be experienced at Titus. Fifteen new trails are now open for exploration the 2012-13 ski season. Three of those trails are groomed and the rest are newly accessible glade areas. Two of the new groomed trails are located on the Middle Mountain and the third is on the Lower Mountain. The new glades are found all over the area, now safer and marked.

The Lower Mountain offers night skiing, snowboarding and tubing until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (Tubing n/a Thurs. evenings).

One trip down the Snow Tubing Park and you will love it! You just need warm clothes. Tubing is available weekends, holidays and Fri.-Sat. evenings. Groups of 50 or more may reserve the Park for a one-of-a-kind private outing during off-hours. New for 2012-2013 is a warming station at the top for the comfort and convenience of both tubers and spectators. Titus, the family-friendly ski resort in the Adirondacks, is just a short drive from Ottawa, Cornwall, Kingston, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec, Plattsburgh and Watertown, New York, and northwestern Vermont. The “easy in — easy out” parking lot makes coming and going a breeze, no matter where in the U.S. or Canada you are coming from!
