CANTON — State police have charged a village resident with grand larceny in connection with Department of Labor benefits.

Andrew D. Stiles, 31, was arrested in the village Wednesday morning, troopers said, where he also was charged with one count of first-degree falsification of business records.

Mr. Stiles was held pending further investigation, troopers said.
