Mike Guardino scored a game-high 19 points to pace the Heuvelton boys basketball team to a 68-28 victory over Belleville Henderson in a nonleague game on Wednesday at Jefferson Community College.
Dedrick Johnson added 13 points for the Bulldogs (5-2) and Cody Holland chipped in with 12. Jack Palmer and Matt Guardino each contributed seven points.
Heuvelton employed its full-court press and took a 16-7 lead and followed with a 24-3 edge in the second quarter.
Trey Countryman paced the Panthers (1-7) with eight points.

Mikayla Warren connected for a game-high 15 points as the Indians captured a nonleague victory over the Red Knights at the JCC Shootout.
Yanna Ososkalo added 12 points for Lyme (1-6), which finished 10-for-14 at the foul line in the final quarter.
Krysti Brow and Mia Rhone each scored 11 points for LaFargeville (2-5), which had led 18-13 at halftime.

Kylie Piercey scored 11 points and hauled in 10 rebounds to pace the host Bulldogs to victory in the opening round of the Heuvelton Tournament.
Olivia St. Pierre contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds for Heuvelton (5-2), which advances to tonights title game against Lisbon at 7:15.
Maddie St. Pierre added seven points and 14 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Breanna Vatter scored 16 points for the Larries (2-4), and Caitlin Grow contributed 12 points and six rebounds.
LISBON 43, COLTON-PIERREPONT 10
Jackie Sovie finished with a game-high 15 points with six rebounds and four steals to pace the Golden Knights to victory in the first round of the Heuvelton Tournament.
Lisbons Beth Crowley scored 10 points and hauled in a team-high eight rebounds and four assists.
Haylee Hennessy led the Colts with six points.
