Nominations are being accepted until Jan. 11, for the Downtown Business of the Year Award in Watertown. The award will be announced during the Downtown Business Association’s annual social event Jan. 25.

All businesses in the downtown area bounded by High, South Massey, Academy and Mullin streets and Beebee Island are eligible for the award. Those who nominate businesses must explain why they believe it’s deserved and include their name and telephone number.

Nomination forms may be downloaded at the DBA website, www.publicsquare.com, or obtained by contacting Sarah O’Connell at 782-9262 or soconnell@sunyjefferson.edu. Nominations should be sent to Downtown Award, c/o Small Business Development Center, Jefferson Community College, 1220 Coffeen St., Watertown, NY 13601.
