NORFOLK - What was expected to be a defensive matchup turned out to be anything but as Norwood-Norfolk skated to a big interdivision home boys hockey win outscoring Salmon River 9-5.
Kaden Pickering finished with two goals and three assists for Norwood-Norfolk (5-3, 3-2).
Tristan Harvey added two goals and an assist, while Kyle Bent accounted for the other goal. Cody Smith had three assists.
Naylen Laffin had a natural hat trick in the second period to pace the Shamrocks (1-6-1, 0-3-1).
