CANTON Randy S. Guyette, 23, of 125 Pink Schoolhouse Road, was charged Wednesday with criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment after a dispute with his former girlfriend Tuesday night, according to state police.
The incident wasnt reported to police until 10:27 a.m. Wednesday, after Morgan B. Green, 26, was treated at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Ogdensburg, and released. The incident is alleged to have occurred at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ms. Greens home, 5128 Route 11, with Mr. Guyette shoving her several times and choking her.
According to police, she ordered him to leave, he initially refused, then pushed her against a refrigerator and left on his own.
Police did not specify Ms. Greens injuries but said scar marks were present on her neck.
After state police contacted him, Mr. Guyette went to the Canton barracks and was charged at 3 p.m. Wednesday. He was arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
