ADAMS — Tom Bassett poured in 26 points, hitting four 3-pointers, as South Jefferson remained unbeaten with a 56-33 Frontier League boys basketball crossover win over Watertown on Saturday.

Jacob Worden contributed 11 points and eight rebounds for South Jefferson (10-0, 9-0), which jumped out to a 34-18 halftime lead.

Willie Scott paced WHS (2-8, 2-5) with 12 points.

CARTHAGE 75, APW 40

Keyan Pinnock hit four 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead four players in double figures as the Comets rolled to a crossover win at Parish.

Walter Jeter contributed 12 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, while Andrew Smith scored 12 points and Peyton McLaurin added 11 for Carthage (8-1, 6-1).

Aaron Marshall led the Rebels (5-4) with seven points.

LOWVILLE 57, ALEXANDRIA 44

Matthew Bush scored a game-high 19 points as the Red Raiders earned the crossover win at Alexandria Bay.

Dalton Rombough contributed 17 points and Brian O’Connor 10 for Lowville (5-4, 4-4), which outscored Alexandria 36-22 in the second half.

Nick Shangraw paced the Purple Ghosts (2-8, 1-8) with 15 points and Ian Kearns scored 12.

BEAVER RIVER 67, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 20

The Beavers crusied to a crossover win at Belleville as Samuel Widrick scored 13 points and had five steals.

Tarren Farney added 11 points and Brandon Delong 10 for Beaver River (10-1, 9-1).

Trey Contryman led the Panthers (1-9, 1-8) with eight points.

POTSDAM 68, PLATTSBURGH 35

Konnor Bigwarfe scored 22 points to headline a balanced effort for the Sandstoners in a nonleague victory over the Hornets at Potsdam.

Will Coleman generated 17 points and Shawn Clark added 13 for Potsdam (6-2), who took a 22-6 lead over the Hornets.

Nate Harrington scored 12 points for Plattsburgh.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

THOUSAND ISLANDS 43, LAFARGEVILLE 24

Alesha Waterman scored 14 points and Allie Barton added 11 points and 12 rebounds as the Vikings (9-1, 8-1) earned a crossover victory over the Red Knights in Clayton.

Krysti Brow scored eight points to lead LaFargeville (2-7, 1-6).

ALEXANDRIA 47, LOWVILLE 38

Lorraine Beard and Hannah Lynch made four 3-pointers apiece as the Purple Ghosts cruised to a crossover win over the Red Raiders at Lowville.

Beard and Lynch finished with 16 and 15 points, respectively, for Alexandria (6-4, 5-3), which led by 27 points after three quarters.

Emma St.Croix scored 14 points to lead Lowville (2-4).

COPENHAGEN 30, SOUTH LEWIS 25

The Golden Knights won it at the free throw line in a crossover game that featured 16 players score with no one surpassing five points in Turin.

Rachel Muncy, Brooke Spaulding and Logan Wheeler scored five apiece to lead Copenhagen (6-4, 5-2), which hit 11 foul shots, five more than the Falcons.

Tori Hanno and Rachel Newell each scored five points for South Lewis (6-4, 6-3).

SACKETS HARBOR 41, SANDY CREEK 28

Joan Cuddeback scored 23 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to help power the Patriots to a crossover victory at Sandy Creek.

Samantha Menapace added 10 points, and Nicole Menapace grabbed eight rebounds for Sackets Harbor (6-3, 6-2).

Karintha Myslivecek scored seven points for Sandy Creek (2-8, 1-7).

CLIFTON-FINE 76, MORRISTOWN 34

In her first game since becoming Clifton-Fine’s first 1,000-point scorer, Hunter Hitchman scored 24 points and added eight assists and seven steals in a Northern Athletic Conference West Division game in Star Lake.

Morgan Skeldon added 17 points, nine rebounds and four steals, and Alexis Pomerville supplied 15 points and six rebounds for the Eagles (5-3, 3-3). Rachel Eibert grabbed 10 rebounds.

Karissa Bertrand scored 12 points for Morristown (0-8, 0-6) in her first game back since suffering a foot injury during soccer season.

Harrisville 48, Edwards-Knox 39

Chelsea Pierce generated 14 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to pace the Pirates (4-4, 3-2) over the Cougars in a West Division game in Harrisville.

Kathleen Coloney added 12 points, while Janel Swanson scored 10 for the Pirates (4-4, 3-2).

Katie Smith scored 15 for Edwards-Knox (1-6, 1-4).
