OGDENSBURG - Three city police cars and a code enforcement vehicle were vandalized overnight, and a Potsdam man is in custody for allegedly doing the damage.
James R. Fisher, 45, of 18 Flow Road, was arrested Wednesday at 1:30 a.m. Ogdensburg police charged him with second-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, resisting arrest, third-degree criminal trespass, making graffiti and littering.
The four vehicles - all Ford Crown Victoria sedans - sustained damage that included broken windows and spray-painted license plates.
Mr. Fisher was held in the city lockup pending arraignment in Ogdensburg City Court on Wednesday afternoon.
