The city Planning Board took no action Tuesday on a 12,500-square-foot addition at Parkside Bible Church, 491 Eastern Blvd.

City planners want church officials to work with the Planning Department on a landscaping scheme to mitigate plans to eliminate 43 trees on church grounds.

Planners want the church to find a way to plant trees to replace the ones that would be lost. The $1.5 million project has been tabled since October.
