ENDANGERING THE WELFARE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Christopher A. Capone, 31, of Potsdam with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana at 2:36a.m. Saturday on

Elm Street. Police said they were called to a residence on Elm Street for a domestic dispute, and further investigation revealed that the incident took place in front of a child. Capone was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Capone wasreleased on an appearance ticket.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Jerome A. Burks, 34, of Potsdam with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 4:28 a.m. Saturday on Racquette Road. Police responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on Racquette Road, and their investigation revealed Burks had engaged in a verbal argument with another person and damaged a door and wall during the incident. Burks was released on an appearance ticket.

1700 Report of a traffic light having a bulb out at Market Street and Sandstone Drive. DOT was notified.
