Graveside services for Geraldine F. “Gerry” Madill, age 77 of County Route 10 Heuvelton, will be held in the spring at Hillcrest Cemetery in Heuvelton. There will be no calling hours.

Surviving is her husband Charles; two sons Christopher Madill of Orlando, FL and Kevin Madill & his wife Karen of Heuvelton; a daughter Joni Wright of Heuvelton; grandchildren Crystal Phelps, Jason Madill, Julia & Kevin Wilkinson, Jerry Newvine, Katie Huto and Logan Armstrong; great-grandchildren Cayne Trimm, Cadyn Trimm, Savannah Huto and Caleb & Damon Wilkinson; a sister Irene Spearance of Lisbon and several nieces, nephews & cousins.

A son Robert R. Madill along with six brothers Mark, Edwin, Arnold, Carlton, Kenny & Dale Kerr and a sister Pauline Kerr predeceased her.

Gerry was born on April 18, 1935 in Lisbon, NY, a daughter of the late Rodney J. & Jennie (Melhinch) Kerr. She attended Ogdensburg & Lisbon schools for her education and married Charles E. Madill on October 18, 1957 in Plattsburgh, NY. She managed the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center Store for a period and then became a stay at home Mom to raise her family. She was a past member of the Heuvelton Women’s Bowling League and enjoyed playing bingo, collecting antiques, gardening, watching humming birds, traveling, winter months in Florida and spending time with her loving family.
