MASSENA - The Massena Central varsity wrestling team produced its second convincing NAC win in two days on Wednesday, pulling away to a 69-10 decision at home over Canton.

The Raiders posted wins in all but three weights as they raised their NAC mark to 5-2 on the season heading into their third meet of the week on Friday at home against Franklin Academy.

After Hunter Perrine opened the meet by drawing a forfeit at 152 pounds, Jaret Warriner worked his way to a pin over Carl Hayes in 3:42 at 160 pounds for his first career varsity win.

Nate Moose got Canton the board at 170 pounds when he pinned Ethan Marcello in 3:29 but the Raiders countered with four straight six-point wins then closed the meet by claiming wins in the final six bouts.

Also scoring pins for the Raiders were; Joe Ferrera over Alan Clement in 3:05 at 182 pounds, Cameron Tarbell over Zach Rotter in 3:14 at 200 pounds, Nolan Terrance over Dave Latimer in 1:12 at 280 pounds, Skyler Cameron over Steven Wood in 4:47 at 113 pounds, Landon Laughlin over Justin Foster in just 28 seconds at 132 pounds, Isaiah Perry over Chaz Agen in 34 seconds at 138 pounds and Dan Elman over Alex Dean in 3:05 at 145 pounds.

Konnor German gained forfeit at 120 pounds and Austin Amo followed by taking a forfeit at 126 pounds to account for the other Massena points.

Ryan Brown closed out the scoring for Canton with an 11-2 decision over Michael Brown at 106 pounds.

There was no 99-pound bout.
