Devin A. Smith, 23, of 1221 Faichney Drive, Apt. 7, was arrested by Watertown police Thursday morning on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation following a Wednesday night domestic fight with his wife.

He is accused of grabbing Traniece Smith by her arm, pulling it up around her neck, and of placing his arms on her arm and applying pressure, police said. Mrs. Smith became light-headed and dizzy, police said, and was weak from a lack of blood circulation.

Mr. Smith faces prosecution in City Court.
