CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - BRUSHTON - Malone-based state police charged Joshua P. Donais, 29, of Malone with six counts of second-degree criminal contempt stemming from a complaint made to troopers at 4:16 p.m. Jan. 14 from the village of Brushton. Troopers said the arrest was made at 9:20 p.m. Saturday at 275 Stacy Road. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the Franklin County Jail.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police investigated a two-vehicle accident at 3:37 p.m. Saturday on state Route 458, near the Blue Mountain Road, in the town of Waverly. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Devin S. Colclough, 20, of Phoenix, N.Y., and Sheila Jean Kilcoyne, 50 , of Brasher Falls.
