Melvin H. Perry, 45, of 720 Jay St., Ogdensburg, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle by village police on Saturday.

Mr. Perry was stopped for failing to obey a stop sign near the corner of Crescent St. and Pickering St.

His blood alcohol content was not available.
