William F. Powers, 49 of Canastota and formerly of Canton passed away Thursday at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse. He was born on May 28 1963 in Canton. Billy had worked for a number of years at the Tick Tock Lounge in Canton. He was predeceased by his father Thomas H. Powers Sr. Survived by his mother Linda Faye Menninger; siblings: Dawn (Martin) Obey, Thomas (Jill) Powers Jr and Tammy (Jeff) Mitchell; nephew: Joshus Obey; nieces Suzanne Stuper and Lisa Mitchell; great nephews Nicholas and Benjamin Obey.
