NORWOOD - Classes have resumed at the Norwood-Norfolk Central School district following an incident which prompted the school to go into a lockdown.
According to a brief statement issues by the school, the school went into lockdown this morning because there was a stranger in the building.
State police were called and they took the person into custody. School officials say they dont know who the person is or why he or she was in the building. NNCS takes these situations very seriously and prefers to err on the side of caution, the district said in its statement.
Officials say the building is now secure.
