WPBS and Flower Memorial Library will host a birthday celebration in honor of Clifford the Big Red Dog’s 50th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 2 at the library, 229 Washington St.

Clifford will be available for story time, meet-and-greets and photographs. There also will be crafts, birthday cake and showings of episodes of “Clifford the Big Red Dog.” Children will receive a treat bag and are invited to sign Clifford’s birthday card.

No registration is necessary for the free event.
