City police charged Ruth A. Scott, 38, of 615 Thompson St., with second-degree harassment following a domestic incident at her residence Friday night.

Police said Ms. Scott threw a Jefferson County order of protection packet at Roger D. Harwood, hitting him in the head.

Charged at 10:04 p.m., she was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending an appearance in City Court.
