SYRACUSE Syracuse University running back Prince-Tyson Gulley, defensive tackle Eric Crume, and linebacker Dyshawn Davis will miss spring football practice due to upper body injuries that required surgery, the school announced on Friday.
Gulley emerged as one of the teams top rushing threats this season, culminating in the Oranges victory over West Virginia in the Pinstripe Bowl, where he ran for 213 yards on 26 carries, caught five passes for 56 yards and scored three touchdowns. He was named the games Most Valuable Player.
Davis finished the season with 69 tackles, one sack, an interception and two fumble recoveries.
The status of each player for the 2013 season will be determined in June.
