GOUVERNEUR — Village police charged five people Wednesday with disorderly conduct and trespassing in connection with an incident Saturday at Nina’s Hotel, 34 Depot St., in which they allegedly refused to leave when asked.

Charged were Richard R. Aldridge Jr., 24, of 132 William St.; Daniel J. Ashley, 28, of 208 W. Main St.; Jeana M. Ashley, 36, of 224 Quarry Road, and Jordan M. Hadfield, 26, and Shane N. Durham, 22, both of 104 Barker Road.

All are to appear in Gouverneur Town Court.
