GOUVERNEUR Tyree D. Judge, 23, of 42 Prospect St., was arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing a man during a fight in June.
He was arrested by Village Police immediately following his release from the Onondaga County jail, Syracuse, where he had been held by Syracuse city police since July on unrelated charges.
Mr. Judge allegedly stabbed Ryan M. Weir, 20, Gouverneur, in the stomach during a fight on June 28 in a parking lot near 62 Church St. Mr. Weir was treated at E.J. Noble Hospital and released.
Mr. Judge was charged with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was taken to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, and held on $10,000 bail.
