BROWNVILLE — Jefferson A. Mahon, 40, of 105 St. Lawrence Ave. E., was arrested Sunday afternoon by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies on a charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief as a result of a domestic fight, deputies said.

He was released without bail following arraignment before Brownville Town Justice Richard M. Parker.

Mr. Mahon is accused of grabbing a cellphone from his wife, Lisa, 30, to prevent her from calling police, and of breaking the phone by throwing it.
