Watertown police at 10:42 p.m. Friday charged Wesley B.B. Butler, 20, of 110 Stuart St., upper apartment, with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
He is accused of attacking a woman in a parking lot near the 500 block of Burlington Street.
Police said Mr. Butler attacked Morgan Gayton, grabbing her through the window of her vehicle, pulling her hair and punching her in the back of the head. In the car at the time of the attack was a 2-year-old child, police said.
Arrested at his residence, Mr. Butler was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building prior to an appearance in City Court.
