CLAYTON — A village man faces allegations that he took and damaged a woman’s car and stole a debit card from her in December.

Tyler J. Fisk, 23, of 324 Merrick St., was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree criminal trespass.

It is alleged that on Dec. 12, he entered the town of Clayton residence of Amanda M. Taylor and unlawfully stayed inside. It further is claimed that he took her 2008 Audi without permission and drove it at a speed that was unsafe for road conditions, causing the vehicle go off Bald Rock Road and crash into a creek, sustaining more than $20,000 in damage. Police also said he possessed a debit card stolen from Miss Taylor, resulting in the grand-larceny charge.

He was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, on $5,000 bail. Mr. Fisk was sentenced in December in County Court to three years’ probation for a guilty plea in August to fourth-degree criminal mischief, admitting that he damaged property at a town of Clayton residence July 2.
