CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Randy S. Guyette, 23, of Canton with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt Saturday following into a reports filed from the town fo Canton at 6:01 p.m. Jan. 29 and 8:22 a.m. Feb. 2 that he had violated an order of protection. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - PARISHVILLE - Canton-based state police charged Justin D. Pearson, 21, of Parishville with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:45 p.m. Saturday at 99 Catherine St., Parishville.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Brady W. Gilbert, 19, of Nicholville with unlawful possession of marijuana late Friday afternoon on Church Street in North Lawrence.
ONE INJURED - MALONE - Malone-based state police said one person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:28 p.m. Saturday on state Route 37 at Brand Road in the town of Malone. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Francis W. Keleher, 57, of Potsdam and Carl L. Johnston, 65, of Malone.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT - KEESEVILLE - Keesceville-based state police charged Victor M. Parrish, 20, of Brushton with disorderly conduct and ticketed him for unsafe movement of a stopped vehicle following a disturbance complaint at 7:13 p.m. Saturday in the village of Keeseville.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - Snow showers that dropped 1.3 inches of snow in Potsdam and higher totals in other parts of the region Saturday led to several accidents on slick roadways. Among those were:
■ Shelly A. Foster, 53, of Bombay and Carlos F. Holcomb, 20, of Brasher Falls involved in a two-vehicle collision at 3:08 p.m. on Route 11C at Union Street in the hamlet of Brasher Falls.
■ Julie Ann Matthews, 26, of Norfolk at 6:40 p.m. on County Route 47, near state Route 56, in the town of Norfolk.
■ Ashley Lynn Gordon, 18, of Malone at 6:50 p.m. on Route 11, near the Hallahan Road, in the town of Lawrence.
■ Danielle J. Rabideau, 27, of Parishville at 3:01 p.m. on state Route 30, near Route 458, in the town of Brighton.
