PUBLIC URINATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Fraser J. Carson, 18, of Cranbourne, Australia, with public urination at 2:50 a.m. Saturday on Main Street.

UNDERAGE PURCHASE ATTRMPT - POTSDAM - Village police charged James T. Claremont, 19, of Colchester, Vt., with attempting to obtain alcohol by fraudulent means by a person less than 21 at 5:50 p.m. Saturday on Market Street. Police said they responded to CJ’s Kegs to check the authentication of an ID. It was discovered that Mr. Claremont was attempting to purchase alcohol with a fake ID.

DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Tracy M. Huczel, 45, of Potsdam with driving while intoxicated at 11:12 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Main Street after police observed a vehicle operating with no headlights. Huczel was also ticketed for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights. Huczel reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.17 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent threshold for a DWI charge.

1654 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to County Route 35 for a one-vehicle accident reported as vehicle into a pole.

2257 Traffic stop on Main Street. Arrest made for driving while intoxicated.
