STOP DWI CHECKPOINT - POTSDAM - Village police charged two people with unlawful possession of marijuana and wrote several traffic tickets during a Stop DWI Sobriety and Safety checkpoint on Pierrepont Avenue.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - Justin R. Edmonds, 20, of Fort Edward and Thomas B. Lawrence, 19, of Potsdam were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

NO SEATBELT - Three tickets were written for failure to wear a seatbelt. They included:

■ Kyle H Krivitsky, 21, of Rhode Island.

■ Jay Michael Ramus, 31, of Watertown.

■ Julie M. Hollis, 21, of West Seneca.

UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - Five people were ticketed for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle. They included:

■ Benjamin T. Hall, 23, of Macedon. Inspection expired in July.

■ Keri L. Merchant, 34, of Potsdam. Inspection expured in June.

■ Dalyn E. Newby, 30, of Parishville.

■ Jonathan A. Brown, 44, of Potsdam.

■ Rebecca L. Scovil, 33, of Potsdam.

UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE - Two people were ticketed for operation of an unregistered motor vehicle. They included:

■ Georgia L. Bjork, 48, of Lisbon. She was also ticketed for operationof an uninspected motor vehicle.

■ Tanner B. Rowell, 21, of Potsdam

INADEQUATE HEADLIGHTS - Stacey M. Hawkins, 30, of Madrid was ticketed for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights.

0043 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

0131 Traffic stop on Spring Street. Verbal warning issued.

0135 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

0150 Patrol observed a subject urinating in public view on Bay Street. Verbal warning issued.

0210 Traffic stop in the Filter Plant Alley. Verbal warning issued.

0341 Patrols responded to a noise complaint on Market Street.

0458 Received a trespass complaint.

0529 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call. Patrols also responded.

0944 Report of a deer head stolen from Hamilton Street. Patrol responded and tracked footprints leaving the scene to a hedgerow nearby. Property was returned to the owner. No suspects.

1315 Report of a lost black clutch wallet in the downtown area.If located, please turn into Potsdam PD.

1328 NYS drivers’ licenses found at McDuff’s were turned over to PD in an attempt to locate the owners.

1340 Patrols dispatched to a domestic dispute on Washington Street.

1548 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call

2337 Patrols responded to a domestic dispute on Elm Street.

2337 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Verbal warning issued.

2345 Patrols assisted a subject gain access to their residence.

2352 Patrols assisted the state police attempting to locate a vehicle.
