N-N names Students of the Month


NORFOLK - The staff at Norwood-Norfolk Central School recently chose the Students of the Month for November. The Students are selected for their academic achievements, integrity and leadership in the school and throughout the community.

Kylee Lashomb is the freshman student of the month. She is the daughter of Trina Reome and Mark Lashomb of Norfolk.

She likes to play sports and hang out with friends. She plays soccer, basketball, and softball. Kylee also participates in band, art, Varsity Club, Spanish Club, student council and is in the ADP program.

Kylee’s main goal in life is to play sports in college and become a pharmacist.

Alisabeth Furnace is the sophomore student of the month. She is the daughter of Lisa and Lynn Furnace of Norfolk.

She enjoys reading, writing, and playing instruments. She participates in soccer, basketball, softball, and Key Club.

In the future Alisabeth wants to attend college for pharmacy or another job in the medical field.

Cheyenne Myers is the junior student of the month. She is the daughter of Malissa and Bob Myers of Norwood.

She likes being around friends and figure skating. She participates in varsity club.

Cheyenne wants to go to college for dental hygiene.

Aaron Chandler is the senior student of the month. He is the son of Jennifer Lan Norton of Norwood.

He enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. He participates in basketball, sports, and sports marketing.

Aaron plans to go to college to play football and major in psychology. After college, Aaron would like to either take football to the next step or join the military.

Each student that was chosen received a gift card from a local restaurant. The businesses that donated are the Hotel Grande and Al Smith’s of Norfolk and The Hometown Café and Lobster House of Norwood.
