STOLEN PROPERTY - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Julie A. Currier, 47, of Canton and Timothy A. Currier, 50, of Canton were each charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property Wednesday at Champion Trailer Park, Lot 13, Canton. They were arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
DWI - GOUVERNEUR - Gouverneur-based state police charged William M. Shely, 59, of Potsdam with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test and ticketed him for failure to keep right at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday following an incident on Route 11 in the town of Gouverneur.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - ST, REGIS FALLS - State police investigated several property damage accidents around the region on Wednesday. Among those were:
■ Shelby Winter Gausby, 19, of Waddington at 9:10 a.m. on Route 458, near Howe Road, in the town of Waverly.
■ Christine A. Mayville, 40, of St. Regis Falls and Craig M. Smith, 37, of Burke were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 3:38 p.m. on West Main Street, near Sawyer Avenue, in the town of Malone.
