The Watertown Industrial Center Local Development Corp. has found someone to complete a report that would comply with requirements intended to shed more light on its operations.
The WIC board agreed Wednesday to pay $500 to Peggy S. Sampson, an executive assistant with the Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency, to submit the information for the report to the state Authorities Budget Office. The report was due to the state agency Sept. 30.
Local development corporations must file the information within 90 days after the fiscal year ends. WIC runs a business incubator in a series of former New York Air Brake buildings at 800 Starbuck Ave.
The threat frustrated board members because the board has been working since last summer almost solely on a reorganization plan as a result of state comptrollers ruling pertaining to its employees no longer being enrolled in the state pension system.
On Wednesday, the board continued to work on its reorganization plan.
