POTSDAM - Village police charged Michael D. Dinan, 44, of Potsdam with second-degree harassment at 4:40p.m. Friday.

Police said Dinan sent repetitive, ‘inappropriate’ harassing text messages to an acquaintance on the evening of Jan. 28.

Mr. Dinan will appear in Potsdam Town Court Feb. 22.
