PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Nicholas A. Mearkley, 31, of Parishville with petit larceny following an investigation into a shoplifting incident Jan. 26 at the Potsdam Wal-Mart store. Kelly A. Blanchard, 27, of Canton had previously been charged in connection with that same incident.

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Timothy J. Oakes, 26, of Norfolk with aggravated harassment Saturday night following an investigation into an incident reported at 7:56 a.m. Feb. 5 from the town of Norfolk.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Zachary A. Bissonette, 16, of Winthrop with a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief following an incident reported at 3:57 p.m. Saturday. The charge was lodged at 2429 County Route 47 in the town of Stockholm.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - DICKINSON - Malone-based state police investigated a two-vehicle accident at 1 p.m. Saturday on County Route 5, near Decker Road, in the town of Dickinson. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Minas P. Stone, 70, and John A, Berkman, 42, both of Brushton.
